The pictures shown above represent various kitchens
Those described below are illustrated on the right and below...
BRIEF
To design, build and fit
the kitchen to replace a collection of freestanding kitchen
cabinets and furniture. Although the existing kitchen inherited
with the house was structurally OK the customer felt it was
too wasteful and inefficient in it's use of space and wanted
a more integrated design still in keeping with the traditional
style of the house.
Long runs of light melamine worktop coupled with the natural
pine helped to achieve this aim along with the concealment of
a freestanding boiler and the existing slot in fridge and dishwasher
which were hidden behind false doors. Two wall cabinets were
kept from the original kitchen - the plate rack and corner wall
cabinet and a second wall cabinet was built to match along with
a small glazed dresser built to fit the available space in one
corner.
