Introduction

All the above designs can be built to order in ANY size. This allows you to specify the exact overall width, shelf depth required and spacing between shelves. In this way it is possible to create custom storage solutions for not only books but also box files & ring binders, cd's, Videos and Hi-Fi Etc. The prices listed below show the most popular sizes but I will be pleased to quote on any other. A fitting service is available to any address within 50 miles of my workshop allowing for the complete installation of anything from a single bookcase to a whole custom built home libary.

Classical Bookcases

Description Available with fixed or adjustable shelves. The arch & fluted side pilasters combine to give great structural strength making it ideal for the storage of large numbers of books. It is also available in double & triple width forms, ideal for the home office or library.

Glazed Bookcases Description

With a standard shelf depth of 11" this style offers both secure & ample storage. It can also be built in double or triple form where the inclusion of a deeper centre section enables a 'breakfront' design to be constructed.

Alpine Bookcases Description

So called because of the fretworked motif, this style offers the same shelf depth as the Classical design but is limited to smaller overall dimensions. That said, however, it’s design enables all the available shelf width to be used therefore maximising the storage potential of the space it occupies.
